@AThousandYoung saidI think that accelerated the decline. When you are only interested in max profit, though, it makes more sense to cater to the client who spends 100x the normal guest. Private equity are normally short term investors interested in high percentage returns and no interest in long term sustainability of the product.
I'm sure this has more to do with the President's hostile policies towards foreigners than the low quality of the Vegas experience though I never liked that city even 25 years ago.
